Youth Ministry is all about friends, fun, and families centered around God.

 

At Fountain of Life, we seek to equip youth with a strong faith foundation that will help them continue to nurture, share, and exercise their faith as they grow.  We do this through two different groups, each with various activities.

 

 

Our youth groups:

 

Core is for 6-8th grade students and takes place 1st & 3rd Sundays from 12:15-2:30pm.  We meet in the youth room after church to play games/sports, socialize and have Bible Study.  We have an annual camping trip, mission trip, and we also join up with the Edge for many of their special events.  In the summers we join up with the Edge for pool parties and other fun excursion events!

 

Edge is for 9-12th grade students and takes place 1-4th Sundays from 6-8:30pm!  We meet in the youth room to socialize, play games/sports, and have Bible Study together.On fourth Sundays we have a guaranteed off-site event.  This includes mini-golf, regressive dinners, bowling, Celebration Station or anything else we can do in the local area!  Above and beyond our weekly events, we have special trips, lock ins, mission trips, and other special excurions.  In the summers we join up with the Core for pool parties and other fun excursion events!

 

 

A little bit more about our Excursion Events

 

Special Trips & Off-site events are unique opportunities we get to do fun activities outside Kernersville.  We’ve gone snow & river tubing, to Wet & Wild, concerts, hiking, rock climbing, mall scavenger hunts, camping trips, Celebration Station, and lots, more.

     

    A little bit more about our Service Events:

     

    Mission Trips take place once a year in the summer.  We do a Pine Needles fundraiser in March to raise money for the trip.  We also meet during the year to gear up for our big trip.

     

    Other service opportunities happen throughout the year.  We do Cardboard Box City, service projects for the church and sponsor a child from Ethiopia.  We do other service opportunities as they come up!

     

     

    About our Sunday School programs:

     

    Confirmation is for 7-8th grade students and their families.  It is an interactive, fun program where youth share their learning experience with their parents.

     

    Edge Sunday School is for 9-12th grade students and meets Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45.  This is where we talk about God, his Word and get a chance to dive deeper into our faith.
